The aim was to analyse the revenue and testing volumes of a clinical laboratory using a dashboard that focuses on three main variables: current revenue, year-to-date revenue, and number of tests performed.

1. To provide a snapshot of the laboratory's financial performance,
2. Assess the laboratory's current revenue, workload and efficiency, and
3. Identify areas for improvement to optimize the laboratory's capacity and productivity.
The aim of this study is to assess the performance of an instrument used to measure HIV viral loads at a medical virology lab by analyzing the total number and distribution of invalid cases produced by the instrument, as well as identifying trends and patterns in the laboratory's performance over time.
The objectives of the study:
1. To provide graphical representations of the data to facilitate interpretation and visualisation of the laboratory's performance, and
2. To identify areas for improvement to optimise the quality of HIV viral load testing at the virology lab.
